Dennis Franks retired from the FBI as a supervisory special agent after a 22-year career. In addition to specializing in organized crime and drug cartel investigations in the FBI, Dennis served as a crisis management coordinator, undercover program coordinator, SWAT team member, firearms instructor, International Police instructor and legal advisor. In his management positions, Dennis supervised a drug task force, organized crime squad, joint intelligence group and the special operations group.
Dennis founded and is president of Investigative & Security Global Solutions (ISGS), Inc., based in Houston and Austin, Texas. ISGS engages in an array of domestic and international investigations and security services for numerous corporations, law firms, families, etc.
Dennis has also served as a security and law enforcement consultant for ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC news, and has appeared in news segments on NBC's The Today Show and Fox News. Dennis served as an executive producer and host of A&E Investigates – The Plot Against America.
